Bio

Mike is our Transport and Plant Manager with a depth of experience in all aspects of vehicle and plant maintenance. He also has experience in the management of vehicle and plant maintenance units and transport operations. Mike’s task is to make sure that our fleet of vehicles and plant is fit for purpose,  with all maintenance being carried out to the highest standards and to ensure our fleet is as fully utilised as possible.

His working philosophy includes a great attention to detail, ensuring that customer needs are met, with thorough accountability and procedural accuracy.

Mike is Deputy Chair of Friends of Arbroath High School and Deputy Chair of Arbroath High School PTA.  Member of Society of Operations Engineers, Member of Institute of Road Transport Engineers and Member of Institute of Plant Engineers.

Some of Mike’s qualifications include a Scottish Technical Education Council Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering, HGV Class CE and various courses from Ford, Iveco, Leyland Dad, Ingersol Rand, Air Drive Solutions, Atlas cranes, Freight Transport Association and the Department for Transport Vehicle Inspectorate.
