From Shed to Success: Jenkins Fire Safety Expands to Victoria Green Business Park

It’s important at DJ Laing that we give back to the local community which has been such a huge part of our success and we intend to continue that local support as we move forward.
Jenkins Fire Safety is a growing company based in Carnoustie and covering Scotland, specialising in fire safety solutions. Established in 2019 from the owners garden shed, the company has expanded its operations after outgrowing two storage containers before moving to Victoria Green Business Park in spring 2024.
Jenkins Fire Safety offers a range of fire safety services, including extinguishers, alarms, suppression systems, training, risk assessment, dry/wet risers, hydrants, fire door surveys and signage.
The decision to move to a brand new starter unit at Victoria Green Business Park was driven by convenience and location. With most staff based in Carnoustie, the park’s proximity made it an ideal choice. Additionally, the reasonable rental pricing offered further incentive.
The move to larger premises signifies a significant step forward for Jenkins Fire Safety. It provides the space needed to expand operations and hold more stock. This expansion could lead to the creation of new job opportunities, with the potential for hiring 1 or 2 additional staff over the next 2 to 5 years.
Jenkins Fire Safety has received support from Business Gateway since its origination. As the company continues to grow, it remains open to leveraging resources and assistance where needed.
