Carnoustie based Housing Developer, DJ Laing Homes has joined Homes for Scotland, the voice of Scotland’s home building industry.

Homes for Scotland represents 200 members which together deliver the majority of the country’s new homes, including affordable housing. The organisation’s sole purpose is to facilitate the delivery of more homes for the people of Scotland.

Karen Nicoll, Managing Director of DJ Laing Homes said: “We are delighted to join Homes for Scotland and welcome the support it provides to our industry across a wide range of planning, policy and technical issues.

“We also appreciate its role in developing initiatives to help homebuyers, such the extension of the 5 Star Builder scheme to Scotland and MI New Home which was then superseded by the Help to Buy scheme and First Home Fund. It has also provided access to the the new industry-led Deposit Unlock Scheme which will help buyers with a smaller deposit to obtain 95% mortgages.”
