Graeme is the Contracts Supervisor at DJ Laing, having started his career on site as a Foreman. 

Having worked through the ranks and understood the quality which is expected from the company, Graeme was promoted to Contracts Supervisor in 2010 and now works closely with our clients and the rest of the Contracts team.

Graeme is involved in a wide range of contracts for the company and predominantly acts as the direct point of contact on site for clients and ensures quality and implementation of the contracts programme on site. Graeme manages and leads the companies on-site teams and ensures health and safety compliance for staff and contractors on site.

He regularly attends pre-contract meetings and directs clients at weekly progress meetings. Graeme also pro-actively works with the local authorities and building agents to ensure compliance is met and the successful sign off projects.

Having control of our plant and labour resources, Graeme ensures that the correct level of staffing is available to meet our client’s programmes. 

Graeme’s qualifications include a current site management safety training scheme (SMSTS) along with an SVQ Level 3 in Management, RAVC accreditation and a CSCS card.
