Health and Safety is paramount to our beliefs

DJ Laing is committed to Health and Safety in every aspect of our work. Nothing is more important to us than ensuring that everyone returns home safely every day and we strive to protect our workforce and anyone affected by our works at all times. Our people are our greatest asset, the health, safety, and well-being of all our team are at the heart of what we do. We understand more than checklists and procedures and that having the right culture is essential to keeping our people safe.

All site personnel hold a health and safety training achievement certificate such as a CSCS accreditation. In addition, our Plant Operators hold a CPCS or equivalent. Our Foremen have SSMTS or SSSTS accreditation. We also have approved qualified First Aiders within all our teams.

In addition to our in-house monitoring and safety talks, our independent safety consultant carries out monthly inspections of our contracts producing reports for senior management.

We ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies with our highly skilled workforce.
