Gavin Watson appointed to Contracts Director

As part of our restructuring plan for growth, we are pleased to announce a new appointment to our Operational Directors which will strengthen our current structure and develop our business in the future.

Gavin Watson has been promoted to Contracts Director and will continue to lead and manage our civils operations and recycling activities with his vast knowledge of civil engineering / groundworks and experience with public utilities. 

Whilst striving to ensure our commercial success, he will also take responsibility for maintaining standards to ensure regulatory, health and safety compliance plus developing and expanding our workforce. 

Gavin has worked within D J Laing for 33 years, having started his career on site and worked his way up to Contracts Manager and was appointed Commercial Manager in January 2018.  Gavin’s personable approach coupled with his philosophy of developing a “client for life” has resulted in a good working relationship with our clients who return time and again.
