    The consumer code for Home Builders was developed by the home building industry to make the home buying process fairer and more transparent for purchasers.

    It will help you to understand the levels of service to expect from your House Builder and know your consumer rights both prior to and after you move into your new home and to provide access to speedy, low cost dispute resolutions, should this be required.

    The Code contains requirements that all House Builders who register with the New Home Warranty bodies for the UK must comply with. These warranty bodies represent over 90% of the new homes built in the UK.
