Karen Nicoll, Managing Director at DJ Laing Homes

Karen is the Managing Director of property development company, DJ Laing Homes. With over 30 years experience in the industry, Karen has been involved in most of the company’s housing developments from design to completion and is now involved in the day to day running of the diverse divisions. She is highly experienced in the property and house building sectors, adept at business management and specialises in sales and customer service.

Karen is also a Director of the Scottish Building Federation and former President of the SBF Dundee and Angus Association.

Darren Leahy, Commercial Property Partner at Lindsays

Darren is a Partner in Lindsays’ Commercial Property team, based in Dundee. Darren works with a number of property developers and house builders, dealing with all aspects of development work including site acquisitions, plot sales and financing. He has experience in dealing with a variety of transactions, including commercial purchases, sales and commercial leasing.

Darren is also experienced in all aspects of residential property including house sales and purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of title.
