Family-owned house builder DJ Laing Homes is celebrating a positive start to it’s Dundee Development, Castle View.
The company has seen a positive uptake in its Dundee properties with 17 reservations now in place and the first 5 residents already moved in and calling the city home.
The two, three and four bedroom properties have proven extremely popular with 6 of them reserved off plan and the smaller properties below £200,000 receiving added support from the Help to Buy Scheme with up to 15% funding.
Karen Nicoll, Managing Director of Carnoustie-based DJ Laing Homes commented, “We are very excited to welcome Castle View’s new residents and to see them make our house a home in time for the festive season. It is pleasing for us to see the new streetscape being formed and the Whitfield area regenerated with family homes.”
Suppliers, staff and associates gathered on Friday 29th November at the development’s showhome to celebrate the successful start to the development and officially open the Showhome.
John Cullen, Consultant from The Voigt Partnership said: “After years in the making, I am delighted that work is progressing at Castle View in Ballumbie. We are continuing to work with the developer to provide a variety of house designs that are proving popular in the thriving city of Dundee.”
