Derek Stewart recognised for over 25 years service with DJ Laing

Derek or as he is fondly known as “Boots” started with the company on 5th October 1994 as a fresh faced 28 year old having moved on from the Strathmore lemonade factory in Forfar.

Boots worked extensively with Barney Harper as his mentor on several large contracts with Barney moulding him into what he is today.  Boots is currently working on the Ogilvie Homes project at Claverhouse, Dundee.
